Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Airoom ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Airoom: AI Room & Home Design. By using Airoom you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide

• Photos you upload — images of rooms or spaces you submit so Airoom can generate AI-redesigned versions.
• Design preferences — selected style, palette, and prompt inputs.
• Account information if you create one — email address (optional).
• Support communications — content of emails or messages you send us.

b. Information collected automatically

• Device information — model, OS version, language, country, anonymized device identifier.
• Usage data — features tapped, screens viewed, session duration, errors.
• Purchase data — subscription status, transaction identifiers (no card numbers — Apple handles payments).
• Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission.

c. Information from third parties

We may receive subscription status updates from Apple via RevenueCat, and aggregated audience data from Meta if you reached us through a Facebook/Instagram ad.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide AI-generated designs from your photos.
• Process subscription payments and restore previous purchases.
• Improve the App's quality, performance, and AI output.
• Send transactional notifications (e.g., generation complete).
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or abuse.
• Measure marketing effectiveness (only with your tracking permission).
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Photos and AI Processing

When you tap "Generate", your photo is uploaded to our processing partner Replicate, Inc. (USA), which runs the AI model and returns a redesigned image. We do not use your photos to train AI models. Replicate retains uploaded images for up to 24 hours for processing reliability and then deletes them. We do not display, sell, or share your photos with any other party.

You can revoke third-party processing consent at any time in the App's permissions, but doing so will prevent generation of new designs.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share limited information with the following service providers, only as necessary to operate Airoom:

• Apple Inc. — payment processing, subscription management, push notifications.
• RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription state, anonymized customer ID, purchase events. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Replicate, Inc. — image processing for AI generation. Replicate Privacy Policy
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook SDK) — anonymized event and attribution data, only if you allow tracking. Meta Privacy Policy
• TikTok Pte. Ltd. (TikTok Business SDK) — anonymized install, session, subscription, and purchase events for ad attribution and measurement, only if you allow tracking. TikTok Privacy Policy
• Mixpanel, Inc. — anonymized in-app behavior events (e.g., feature usage, funnel completion) for product analytics. We use a randomly generated anonymous ID; we do not send your name, email, or photos to Mixpanel. Mixpanel Privacy Policy

These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations to protect your data.

5. App Tracking Transparency

On first launch, iOS will ask your permission to track activity across apps and websites for advertising. You can deny this and Airoom will continue to work; we will simply not measure ad attribution. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Data Retention

• Photos you upload — deleted from our processing partner within 24 hours.
• Generated designs — saved on your device only, unless you choose to save them to your Library; in that case retained until you delete them.
• Account/usage data — retained while your account is active and up to 24 months after last use.
• Transaction records — retained as required by tax and accounting law (up to 10 years).

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability.
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. California Residents (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we do not sell personal information), and not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Contact us at the email above.

9. International Data Transfers

Airoom is operated from Morocco. Our service providers are based in the United States and the European Union. By using the App you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

10. Children's Privacy

Airoom is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / under the applicable digital consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@airoom.app and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for cached data, and limited internal access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-App notice or email at least 7 days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version.
